My name is Puseletso Maduna, although most of my clients call me “P.” I am a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Board of Health Care Funders (BHF). I work with both children and adults, and consult in Xhosa, IsiZulu and English. I have a particular passion for supporting children and adolescents as they navigate emotional and developmental challenges.

MY PRACTICE:

I have a special interest in grief and trauma, and my therapeutic approach focuses on creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I work collaboratively with my clients to process difficult experiences, build emotional insight, and develop healthy, sustainable coping strategies.

In addition to psychotherapy, I have an interest in psychological assessment for both children and adults, and I value developing a clear and holistic understanding of each client’s unique needs.

Currently, I am in private practice, with Sian Green Inc, practicing from the Klarriti Mind and Health Centre in Scottburgh., KwaZulu-Natal.

SERVICES:

  • Individual Psychotherapy for children, teens and adults
  • Psychological Assessments
  • Psycho-educational Assessments

MY PREVIOUS WORK ENVIRONMENTS:

I previously worked within the Department of Health in both psychiatric hospital and regional hospital settings in Mitchells Plain, Port Elizabeth and Port Shepstone, where I gained experience working with a wide range of mental health presentations. This background continues to inform my thoughtful, grounded, and integrative approach to therapy.
